General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC)

The website piloboots.com is operated by PILOBOOTS. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern sales made on our website and define the rights and obligations of the parties within the framework of product purchases. By placing an order on our website, you agree to these GTC.

 

1. Definitions

-"Boots": Refers to the entirety of the shoe, whether new or used.

-"Customer": Refers to any individual or legal entity making a purchase on the website piloboots.com.

2. Nature of Products

We offer rare or collectible boots, classified as follows:

- New models never worn: This includes boots from recent collections or retro/collector models, which may be sold without the original box.

-"Like new" models (9.9/10): Boots slightly worn, tried on, or used for short training sessions. These models may show minor imperfections.

-Used models: Boots that have been worn, with a condition rating on a scale of 1 to 10.

-We guarantee the authenticity of our products. However, as resellers and not manufacturers, we cannot guarantee the durability or longevity of the boots, whether new or used. It is the responsibility of the Customer to carefully inspect the condition of the boots before purchase. 3. Limitation of Liability

PILOBOOTS cannot be held responsible for wear and tear or damage caused to a boot after purchase, particularly during its first use. Boots, especially retro/collector models, are primarily intended to be collected, and their durability under intensive use cannot be guaranteed. In the event of indirect damages, loss of profit, or any other consequence related to the use of the products sold, our liability is expressly limited.

4. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French and European legislation, the Customer has a 14-day period from the receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide any reason. To be eligible for return, the boots must be returned in their original condition, unworn, and in their original packaging, if possible. Customized or made-to-order products are not eligible for the right of withdrawal. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, except in the case of a defective or incorrect product. PILOBOOTS cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the package during return shipping.

5. Return and Refund Policy

If you wish to return a product, please follow the procedure below : 

- Notification: Send us an email at hello@piloboots.com within 14 days of receiving your order to notify us of your return request.

-Return conditions: The boots must be returned in their original condition, unworn, and with the original packaging if applicable. Any damaged or used product will not be eligible for a refund.

Return shipping costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. It is recommended to use a service with tracking and/or insurance to avoid any loss or damage during transit.

Once the product is received and inspected, we will send you a refund confirmation. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.

6. Delivery Terms

Orders are shipped within 2 to 5 business days after payment validation. We use reliable shipping services (Colissimo, LaPoste, etc.), and you will be informed of the estimated delivery times upon order confirmation.

Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country and are displayed at the time of payment. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or additional fees may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the Customer.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our site are in euros (€) and include VAT (if applicable). You can choose your device on the website top. We accept payments by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) as well as via PayPal. Payments are secured through our payment service provider, Shopify. Full payment must be made at the time of order.

8. Dispute – Consumer Mediation

In the event of a dispute between the Customer and PILOBOOTS, the parties will strive to resolve the matter amicably. If no amicable solution is found, the Customer may refer to an independent mediator listed by the Commission for the Evaluation and Control of Consumer Mediation. 9. Changes to the GTC

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to change at any time. It is the responsibility of the Customer to regularly check this page to be informed of any updates. The applicable GTC are those in effect at the time of the order.
